3 Acrobatic Gymnasts Perform Synchronized Routine And Now It's Gone Viral
Gymnastics is one of the toughest sports on the planet. Not only does it take a lot of physical strength and stamina, but top athletes dedicate multiple hours a day to perfect their routines and practice. From the balance beam to the floor routines, there is so much skill and precision that comes into every single move. It’s hard enough as an individual, but working together as a team in synchronization can be many times more difficult. But that is exactly what acrobatic gymnastics is all about.
This competitive sport features partners or teams focusing on balance as they compete against other teams. A pair or group will take the floor and perform a skilled routine that can feature elements of balance and tumbling all set to music. Today’s famous routine features a trio of gymnasts from Ukraine as they compete at the 2010 World Championships in Wroclaw, Poland. From the moment they step onto the mat, these athletes leave the audience in awe with their unique balance pyramids and throws. They move in perfect sync and it’s truly mesmerizing from beginning to end.
The talented group went on to place 3rd after Russia and Great Britain during the competition. But, after their routine was posted online, it quickly caught the attention of the world. Since their performance over a decade ago, the routine has garnered over 30 million views across social media and the number keeps growing. Who else was in awe of this incredible routine?
